Consulting

At Drift, we believe the workplace is more than a physical space—it’s a central part of people’s lives, influencing daily well-being and fostering meaningful connections. With most adults spending the majority of their waking hours at work, employers have a unique opportunity to shape their employees' physical, mental, social, and overall health. Our consulting approach centers on building work environments that respect and enhance holistic health and support systems with the latest in workplace well-being and human-centered data.

Acting on employee well-being isn't just good for a healthy workforce —it's critical for business health. Recent research reveals that disengaged employees and high turnover, which are often linked to low well-being and job related stress, can cost a median-sized S&P company up to $355 million per year in lost productivity and revenue. In the UK, studies from the McKinsey Health Institute (MHI) and Business in the Community estimate the potential economic benefit of enhanced employee well-being to be between £130 billion and £370 billion annually—equivalent to £4,000 to £12,000 per employee. This impact represents a substantial 6 to 17 percent of the United Kingdoms GDP.

Our approach leverages a holistic health framework to show the added value of measuring comprehensive well being indicators—going beyond just burnout or engagement metrics. We believe that companies seeking to make meaningful improvements in well-being need actionable insights and data to determine where to start. By evaluating holistic health, we can create targeted strategies to boost engagement, satisfaction, and ultimately, organizational performance. Drift is here to guide that journey, helping you to build a healthier, more resilient workforce that drives lasting business results.

Customized Strategies

We know that holistic health varies widely based on factors like industry, team culture, and regional dynamics. That’s why we provide bespoke consulting solutions grounded in data and tailored to meet the specific needs of each organization. By evaluating employees' well-being through the lenses of physical, mental and social health, we can design actionable strategies that make a measurable impact. Our focus is not just on temporary fixes, but on creating long-term improvements in the workplace that makes health and well-being central to the employee experience.

Burnout is one of the most significant challenges in today’s workplaces, with more than a third of employees in 29 surveyed countries reporting exhaustion. We tackle this issue by exploring not just the symptoms but the underlying causes of burnout through research, surveys, and employee feedback. Our team utilizes a mix of quantitative and qualitative data to understand how work environments, team dynamics, and other variables influence employee energy and focus. This approach helps us recommend solutions that reduce burnout and sustain motivation.
